About us

We thought the best way to let you know who we are, without all the ‘frills’ would be to present ourselves as a timeline. Learn more about us below…

– In the beginning: Est. 2002, I+D limited was conceived from the print units at Bradford College and the University of Bradford and became regarded as the UK’s first shared service in the education sector for print related services.

– One year on, one year wiser: 2003 saw the launch of our colour digital service due to the changing nature of demand and technologies made available.

– Bolder Steps: At 2 years old, 2004 wasn’t so much about baby steps, but bolder steps. We went large format. That’s big stuff, printed bigger than A4, by a long way!

/6 – Getting on with getting better: By 2005/2006 we had developed a reputation for excellence in both print and design led services and so on we marched.

– Investing in a greener future: In 2007 we strengthened our ecological standing and invested in a chemical free litho printing press, simply because we care. As we continued to grow, so did our design team. We brought in Emma and boy did she redefine creativity. Our Large Format service was also given a huge boost during 2007 with the arrival of Umar with his keen eye for all things ‘large’.

– We’re kind of a big deal: In 2008 we were acknowledged…on a national scale that is, winning not one prestigious award, but a brace for ‘best design’ and ‘best litho print’ at the UPMG. To celebrate this stand out year, we rewarded our customers with the convenience of a web to print service and unveiled yet another creative dimension to our design team, in Anna. Also this year, Ruth arrived to front our Customer Services department, Ruth’s favorite two words are ‘Customer’ & ‘Focused.’

– Thinking ahead: In 2009 we extended our admiration of students by inheriting CopyZone; A service that caters specifically for student needs.

– On the move: 2010 and as we mourned the loss of our trusted I+D van, ‘Steve’, we were ‘all shook up’ but eventually we moved on and decided to invest in ‘Elvis’… our shiny new I+D van.

– Digitally enhanced: 2011 sparked further investment in technology as we replaced our colour digital presses with new models.

– 10 years young: A decade on and we’re already relishing the challenge of the next 10 years. What better way to bring in this milestone than to launch our new (and improved website)…what do you think? Come profit with us in 2012 and beyond.

– Team changes: In 2013 Jeff, one of our Customer Services team retired to spend his days forever ‘on the green’ golf clubs in hand. All the best Jeff! Finding a suitable replacement was always going to be a challenge, how surprised were we? when in early March, Andrew joined the Customer Services team adding his vast knowledge of the print industry to our arsenal.

The transfering of the ‘Team ID’ torch: The year started on a sad note for us as our ‘Leader’ Brian retired to spend more time doing whatever it is retired people do, ‘getting up at midday, walking around the rest of the day in slippers, etc, etc’ but we are not jealous, honest!? It was then ‘all change’ at Team ID with the arrival of our new Leader, Mark ‘Speighty’ Speight, who has come onboard with new and fresh ideas about where to position Team ID moving forward in this ever-changing business environment.

Onwards & Upwards: A new, leaner Inprint+Design continues to win your business with new services including touring the whole of the UK & Ireland managing the conference/events exhibition fufilment for the University of Bradford & Bradford College. Meanwhile back at Team ID we bid fairwell to David, our customer services legend, who will be retiring in the new year.
